How is your wardrobe lighting?
Sometimes not enough light reaches the wardrobe - whether it's because of the dark location or the way the lights are positioned in the room. This can make finding clothes a challenge.
The simplest solution to this problem is to install a wardrobe lighted coat hanger. They are practical, easy to install and will make your everyday life much easier.
Thanks to a motion sensor, the light automatically switches on when you open the door or approach the wardrobe. Of course, the light will also switch off automatically later. So you don't have to fumble for a switch to light up the inside of your wardrobe, and it's energy efficient too.
Emuca has added this solution to its two new illuminated clothes hanger tubes: one battery-operated and one electric.
Castor illuminated hanging tube
You don't even need a plug socket to install a Castor illuminated hanging tube in its vicinity. It works with a battery, which you can remove at any time without disconnecting the tube.
You can use the most common USB charger to charge the battery. You probably already have one at home.
Thanks to the integrated motion sensor, the Castor Clothesline Tube light automatically switches on whenever you are within 1.5 metres of your wardrobe. The sensor has a 90-degree angle to cover a wide area in front of you. When switched on, the tube emits a nice soft white light (4000 K). When you leave the sensor, the tube turns off after 15 seconds.
Available in two different finishes, you can choose the one that best suits your wardrobe. If you like cool tones, we recommend the elegant frosted grey tube. If you prefer darker and more modern tones, the pipe is also available in a moka colour. Both tubes are fitted with a rubber strip on the top to dampen the noise of moving clothes hangers.
All you need is a screwdriver to install this illuminated hanging tube, screws included. The tube is attached to the two lateral supports, which you need to screw on both sides. The battery attaches to the larger lateral support and connects to the tube via a small plug. This allows you to easily remove the battery for charging. It is also possible to use the middle carrier with the tube.
The tube is available in several widths and five different lengths (558 mm to 1158 mm). It can also be cut to fit the range you want to install it in.

The Polux coat hanger makes your wardrobe more modern and significantly brighter. Unlike the Castor model, this tube plugs into the mains and needs to be installed near the wardrobe. Forget chargers, there's always light in your wardrobe.
Polux works in a similar way to the Castor tube - the included motion sensor is activated when you reach the sensor's detection zone. The sensor detects movement at 90 degrees and up to 1.5 metres away. When you leave the sensor's field of view, the tube automatically switches off after a second. The Polux light is also a cosy natural white light (4000 K).
The Polux model is made of aluminium and comes with a rubber strip that makes hanging and removing clothes hangers quiet. Like the Castor model, the Polux is available in a range of lengths (558 mm to 1158 mm) and can be cut to fit an existing wardrobe.
To install this tube in your wardrobe, you will first need to install a pair of brackets on the sides or under a shelf.
Installing the pipe is not very complicated, however you must remember that the pipe is connected to the mains, so you must take into account where the wire passes through the cabinet (you will need to make a small opening). You will need a 12 V DC power supply to connect the pipe to the mains.
